Unfortunately, there is no Garvin county-specific sex offender registry. However, the Oklahoma Department of Corrections maintains the state sex offenders registry per the Sex Offenders Registration Act. This registry contains state-wide public information on sex offenders. Through the registry, inquirers may perform four (4) different types of searches. These include a basic search, an appearance search, an offense search, and a map search.

To perform a basic search, an inquirer must provide at least one or a combination of the following criteria; a name, address, city, state, county, and zip code. As the name implies, an appearance search involves supplying a physical description of an offender like their race, sex, age, height, weight, hair color, eye color, and other physical identifiers. For an offense search, the inquirer would select an offense type, a state, whether the offense was aggravated, and if the offender is a habitual offender. Lastly, a map search involves filling in a street name, city, state, county, zip code, and radius in miles. Regardless, search results would provide relevant offenders' information such as:

  • Full names
  • Photos
  • DOC identification
  • Appearance details
  • Physical identifiers
  • Offenses
  • Addresses
  • Aliases
  • Employers' details
  • School
  • Registry status
  • Vehicle, air, and watercraft description

Inquirers should note that some offenders' details may not be available in the registry due to their age and year of conviction. Offenders are also responsible for updating their registration details (for example, their address or employer change) with law enforcement agencies. As a result, the registry may contain inaccurate information on offenders who fail to update their information.
